What can I make with Foldsquare?

PDF catalogs, price lists, line sheets, wholesale order forms and contracts, and digital flipbook catalogs, all from the same product data.

Can I make a wholesale catalog or line sheet?

Yes. Choose Wholesale when you create a catalog and set the discount, for example 50% off retail. Wholesale prices follow your store, and wholesale catalogs include an order form and contract pages.

Do I need a designer to build a catalog?

No. Every template is made by our designers. Add your logo and colors, choose your products, and the pages lay themselves out. You can adjust anything in the editor or ask the assistant.

Do I need an online store?

No. Connect Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix or Ecwid, import a CSV or Excel file, or add products by hand.

How big can a catalog be?

Paid plans have no limit on products or pages. The Free plan covers 25 products and 10 pages. If your catalog runs to thousands of products, tell us. We are tuning the new table tools with design partners.

Which features are in early access?

The new table tools: spec tables, compatibility, custom field columns, tables that continue across pages, and the part number index. Everything marked Available now ships today.

What is MCP, and do I need it?

MCP is the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI apps work with other software. You do not need it. Foldsquare works fully on its own. If you already work in Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, it lets them build and publish catalogs for you.

Which AI tools work with Foldsquare?

Claude works today as a custom connector. ChatGPT works in developer mode, and a directory listing is in preparation. Codex and other MCP clients connect to the same server address.

Is it safe to let an AI work on my catalog?

You sign in and approve exactly what the app may do, and you can revoke access any time. It asks before it publishes, deletes or embeds anything. Changes made by the in-app assistant can be undone, and its conversations are recorded to improve it.

Does the AI cost extra?

No. The assistant is in Beta and included on every plan. Switch it on in Settings, Labs. Your own AI subscription is separate.
